    Modify T/C Hawken Trigger Guard?

    Has anyone here cut the big finger hook off the bottom rear of the TC trigger guard? Id like to see some pictures of that. Id like to take it off and round that area smooth, like it was never there. Dont know, I dont want to do something I might regret, But I dont like that hook.

    Is there anyone who will make a custom stock for a Lyman Great Plains Rifle? I'd like to have one in maple or at least a better grade of walnut. If I could even get one roughed out and inletted, I can shape and finish it.

    Refinnish a GPR stock?

    I have an older Great Plains Rifle and the stock is plain walnut with a very dark finish. I'm used to stock refinnishing. If I sand the wood bare, will the color lighten some and show the grain more? I'd like to sand it down and finish with Tru Oil.

    Do the velocities normally drop in a C&B revolver from shot 1-6 due to fouling? Does greasing the chambers fix that?

    Of all the different oils, Crisco, Corn, Canola, Olive, EV Olive, Peanut etc. etc., Im wondering, what is your favorite to use in making mixed lubes and why? What are the properties of the different oils that you are aware of?

    Slug , meaning, just a cylinder of lead the propper diameter, the ends cut square and the same length as the diameter? I would assume it would be patched?
