    Costs of Flints

Flint Napping is a skill that takes time to be great at. Anyone with some skill, time on their hand can do it. But it is like any skill, time must be invested to be good at it. I am sure someone has post a U-Tube on how to do it like most things, just take time, and the ability to understand...

    Costs of Flints

Cost of "Flints" has gone up like everything else we consumers buy. I recall getting gasoline @ $0.17/9/gallon in the 1970. A First Class Stamp was $.03 in the 1950's. The U.S.P.S use to deliver mail twice daily to residences in the early 1950's in Florida. But part of the scoring cost of...

Tip Curtis Bucks Cty, Lancaster (or other patterns) Rifle photos?

Check out Track of the Wolf's Web-site for photos of the "styles" your considering. As far a "Tip" he is a good builder, he was at the Western Shoot this year with a lot of offerings. His build are better then some, not as good fancy as others, but the man does his own work, and I would say he...

    Smoothbore accuracy?.

I understand this but also mention the Newspaper thing to give people an idea on how to see what they can not experience. Also the accuracy this is a skill set, people individual skill of shot placement. Grouping shows how good or consistant you are. Most firearms are more accurate then the...

    Smoothbore accuracy?.

IMHO it is a question with two answers. First a Smoothebore can & will be accurate up to 75 - 100 Yards. Second will it have killing power at that distance with a rebound ball. Yes maybe if you shot is dead in the Heart. Now if you like you can find out how much energy that Roundballs...

The Men that Made America, Frontiersmen

TV, Movies, or stuff you watch on reality shows are not real deal any longer. It is about entertainment, not producing a quality product, and some time their technical adviser because they want to keep work, let stuff slide that should not be part of the show. It about Dollar & Cents not being...

Powder price continue to climb, it is supply & demand. In the old day their was more of as demand for REAL BLACK POWDER when the U.S. Nasty was using the stuff in their big guns. Today the demand is very small compair to during the Vietnam way. Many manufactures have gone out of the business...

    Your first ML rifle

Back in the 1960''s there was a place in the Five Boros of NYC called NUMRICH ARMS. Believe that was the name, it was prior to Federal Form 4473. Anyway they sold Civil War Surplus, Springfield Rifles. There cost under $25.00, and you could order UNISSUED for about $40.00 back then. So I...

    NMLRA Territorial's 2018?

Well I was at the Western one day to visit with some friends this year. Was told they had 113 Register Shooter, 5 or 6 Traders at end of counting. Not what you would call very good. Back in 1999 it was almost 400, over 60 Traders, so numbers do not lie, will it happen again? Good question.
