    Making the side lock quiet?

    I have a 50 cal Hawkin and when you cock it the click is loud. Can it be made about silent? Thanks..... :surrender:

    Hate to admit it, but....

    Of all the guns I have, my 50 cal Hawken is becomming my loyal friend. Her name is Rachel and I enjoy her more then all the rest. I have been out the last couple of weeks looking for sheads and she goes on every trip. Getting used to the weight and feel of the gun. What a joy to shoot also...
