    Rich44, That looks so sad. Building the wheels was a challenge. I built that carriage a long time ago. It was one of my early attempts at carriage building . The wheels are not dished but still came out nice for a first try. This picture after I got my new front doors.

    The gun is no longer mine. It belongs to the golf country club. I don't know what they did with it. They were jerks to deal with in the first place and ignored my maintenance advice. I don't want anything to do with them anymore.

    This was one of my very early cannon carriages. I built it in 1998. It sat in my foyer for more than a decade. I mounted a South Bend Replica "swivel barrel" on it.     I have a mold that cast a ball 2.90" in diameter which allows proper windage. for a 3" bore . A friend made it for me about 20 years ago. I have cast a lot of balls with it out of different material. I weigh them but can't promise how accurate it is. Never the less, here it is. Lead - 4.8 lbs...

    I have a lot of time in one of these. Three has been even more challenging. I buy the wheels from Amishcraft.com I am using red oak.
