Black Powder Banned at my Gun Club!

If I recall, most bp shoots do not allow modern firearms so don't complain when modern bans bp. I know lots of indoor shooting ranges do not allow bp do to the fact that all the smoke makes it impossible to see more than a few feet.

    Traumatized by bans and shortages

Someday they may be as good as cash, hang on to them.

    Traumatized by bans and shortages

A full beef last me and her about 10 months. I did have several cases of spam but gave them to a local church. But back to original post. I do need to get me a good flintlock and stock up on flints and powder.

    Traumatized by bans and shortages

True. Right now I am trying to make a set up with my four wheeler and add a trailer on back to haul supplies. It's not a bug out bag it's more of a getting away and starting over thing.

    Traumatized by bans and shortages

There use to be a Christian comedian that use to say..... If I would have killed her the first time I thought about it I could have been out of prison by now. Truth be known I live on her family beef farm. In hard times I am better set than horders. Last year we had two deer and a full cow in...

    Traumatized by bans and shortages

I knew she would from the beginning. She don't make much at her job and she does all she can to make it. I would like to trade her in for a better model but for now she is all I have. Can't live with them, and you can't kill them.

    Traumatized by bans and shortages

Better to have and not need than to need and not have. I don't hord shooting supply as I know the Lord will take care of me but I do keep a crossbow handy to take care of shooting needs if needed. My problem with holding is my family takes it if they find it. 2 years ago I bought a bunch of...

Duelist Den - Mike Beliveau in need of help.

Can't fight city hall. Best thing to do is sell your land to the Pennsylvania Antifa/Black Panther party (see how your neighbors like that) and then take your money and get out of the east coast. Eastern Oklahoma has some good land prices.

    Mortimer

Thank you for participating. I wish more people participated in this kind of stuff instead of talking about caps all the time.

    Mortimer

My goodness, people would rather talk about cap at bass pro then muzzloading history. If the subject is too much I will change the subject. OK, new subject, has anybody see anything shiny while in the store. Please post here. Remember to answer with "kit from kibler".

    Mortimer

I have looked them up but can not find much about them. Who is Mortimer and what roll (if any) did they play in the American west? Did hawkin design his plains rifle after their rifles or did Mortimer copy Hawkin?

    Educate me on Petersoli please

Well I would say that's one of their problems, they don't even know how to spell their name.

    Educate me on Petersoli please

For years I have wanted a Petersoli Rocky Mountain Hawkin in maple as I think it's one of the most beautiful rifles ever made. On occasion on here I hear the acosional complaint about Petersoli and I am wondering just how good or bad is their quality. I have learned that when a person gets to...

    Bass has them

But what about flints? Are they easy to find and buy?

    Only one muzzle loading rifle

I'm sure this has been done to death but here we go anyway. If you could have only one muzzle loading rifle what would it be? Include maker, percusion or flintlock, why that rifle and things like that. Smooth bore is ok but this is more about rifles.

Just sharing a trick I learned

My girlfriend has those rope lights all around the pool and pool side table but hers run off of solar power. Neat little lights.

    FOR SALE TC Hawken 45

That is a Seneca patch box. But it's a kit so I get it. Sorry for stealing your thread.

    Why Kibler

So are all the parts high quality. Let's say the locks on a flintlock. Will his be top end or do I need to look farther?
  20. bobthemotorcycle

    Why Kibler

I'm am far from an expert on bp as I just tinker with it for awhile then go do something else then come back and piddle for awhile then go find something else then come back and over and over. In the past when asked by a poster to recommend something there was a small list of recommendations...
