    Dirty Bore

    I have new CVA St.Louis Hawkens. Sighted in at 50yrds. 1"groups, It has about 50 rounds thru it. After i clean it and take it out to shoot it the next time, it takes 3 to 4 shots before it comes back to zero. Isit that the barrel not broken in yet? Im using 80grs.of 777 with 275gr.maxi hunter...

    Whats up with New York Laws for muzzle loaders? I was at a gun auction in Pa. And the auction house said anyone from New York State. can not buy a muzzle loader. There's a gun show in New York This week end and i was going to take a loader to sell,I dont know if I can now.?

    browning a barrel

    traditions main spring

    I have a cap lock with a broken main spring. Can not find one, its a sm. lock no marking on gun just spain stamped on barrel. I"m thinking its a traditions? The main sring has two little fingers that hooks to the shear. the pin is close to the bend not mid way on the spring.
