Yes, I have won pistol shoots with a snub nose 38 instead of my competition race gun just for fun.

    Pyrodex shortage, newbie question

I shot 20 year old Pyrodux a guy gave me that was stored in his garage. It lost nothing to new.

Pyrodex pellets in a revolver...any one use these?

You are wrong Sam. Pyrodex does not lose anything from storage and age. I was given a bunch of old muzzle loader supplies that in included a can of 10 year old open can of pyrodex. It chronograph 15 - 20 fps from new.

Pyrodex pellets in a revolver...any one use these?

I like Pyrodex much better than black powder. Much less fouling. I can shoot all afternoon without cleaning the barrel. It is more accurate and constant (chronograph confirmed )than black powder.

    CVA Mountain Rifle Test Firing

Dont waste you money on the Dutch Schoultz book. My gun shot the worst ever with it. Patches with bore butter are 100 times better.

    Dutch Schultz' Accuracy Method

With bore butter I can shoot all afternoon without any swab, and pile them on top of each other. Sure beats pushing crud down into breach and causing hang fires.

    Dutch Schultz' Accuracy Method

It doesn't work Don't waste your money. The worst groups my gun ever shot. Went back to bore butter and shooting one hole again.

    Ballistol fumes?

Rifleman man is nuts. I used it for over 30 years on high end Browning, CZ, STI to low end Savage and Mosins. Its wont seize up any gun and works in freezing weather.

    Melting pot. Lee or Lyman?

If you cast 6 cavity 45acp mold, you will want a 20 pound bottom pour pot.

    Early TC Barrel Info.

Thanks 40 Flint. It's got to be a upgrade. My original is all shot out.

    Early TC Barrel Info.

I picked up a used TC barrel at Kittery Trading Post in Maine. It has a low SN 19xxx, no BP only warning and a iron cross stamp on the bottom by the breach area. Does the Iron Cross identify the maker? The riffling is much deeper than my original.

    TC Hawken replacement barrel

I want to replace the factory barrel with a good slow twist rb barrel. Any idea where I can get a drop in like a Green Mountain or equal?

    TC Hawken Frizzen Replacement

Anyone know of a good replacement frizzen for TC? The stock TC seems to soft and gets gouged and is hard on flints. I heard that a Lyman frizzen can be fitted and is much harder.
