Who can jug choke a smoothbore barrel?

As I try to get a better pattern in my smoothbore 20ga trade gun, I realize that 25yds is my limit. I was wondering if I could send the barrel off to someone and have it jug choked? Any ideas

    My first belt pouch.

Another cold, snowy, rainy day here in Southern Vermont. I have a big piece of good quality leather so I decided to make myself a belt bag or pouch. Not very big, about 8”x6”x4” , but I learned a lot about building a small bag. Small pieces of antler for closures, and all saddle stitched. I love...

    Still cold here in Vermont

Yesterday it was again a windy and cold day. Too cold for the range, and no ice fishing here this year. . So… I decided to continue some leatherwork. I just picked up a nice Crockett .32 caliber percussion gun. Shoots great but it feels strange digging the tiny .310 round balls out of a plastic...

    Turkey box call holster

Stayed inside yesterday, 10f and 15mph winds here in Vermont. I decided to max a box call carrier for my Lynch’s #102 box call. It’s a great old call and deserves better treatment than tumbling around in the bottom of my backpack, or game pouch. I only had 7/8oz vegtan leather to work with...

Traveling from Vermont to South Georgia next week, taking Rte 81 thru Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia, and then cutting down to Rte 95 after Washington DC. Dumb question?

I am refinishing a nice little Traditions sidelock rifle and have a question. There is a small spring loaded screw inside the lock that I am not familiar with. I have worked on plenty of T/C caplocks and have never seen this before. Before I mess something up, can someone tell me what it is for?
