    Squirrel caliber?

    I've owned both .32 and .36. I still have a .36 which in my opinion is easier to manage reloading and cleaning. I also found the .36 to be less finicky with loads/accuracy. As for damage, your going for head shots so it's a moot point, additionally when I hit body with either caliber, damage...

    Unloaded my Flintlock

    I always leave loaded for the season (few months) if not fired, never an issue. Trick is once loaded do not take it in the house, always leave mine cased in the shed and in the bed of my truck when driving to hunting land.

    I have been using KIK for many years. It's my favorite. I find it to be in between Goex and Swiss. Powder Inc was the only retailer I knew of, don't believe it has been imported for a long time now, good thing I bought a nice supply when it was.

    Hunting with 44" barrel

    My fowler has a 48" barrel, no problem carrying, taken squirrel, pheasant and woodcock with it.

    more squirrels with the .45

    Love the black squirrels. Would like to get one and have a mount done. They are very rare in my neck of the woods, only seen a couple and that was up in NY state and Vermont.
