I was referred to this post from my own Qs about quality of aid Co.s weapons. Thank you, and I am sorry you had to vicariously "take one for the team" so we cld all know what to expect. I will as a result go back to DGW or TotW for my weapons concerns as a result. Aaron

So, I am days away from pullin the trigger on buying 2 to 3 weapons from them and wanted a last minute review from blokes in the know. Are these as useful as they claim? ( memories of Microsoft claiming to make our lives easier comes to mind) Or,... are they as shoddy as the price would suggest?

    Solid brass tacks

Also, I'm well aware of the copper and or brass spur washer rivets, was actually toying w the same idea of just peening them down as such. But, silly as it may be, I came across another option. On amazon of all places. If it works, I'll be sure to spread the word for other with similar projects.

    Grease Hole?

Hoping this is the right location for this, but I just watched the most recent Ep in which he made a wee flinter for his son to eventually shoot. In the process of making it, he installed a "Grease hole" or lube hole. Is this strictly a regional and or era based thing? I ask because I had...
