    Piece meal build.

    A TC Renegade stock. A Gibbons breech and tang. Cut lock plate for gibbons. Spacer glued to back face of tang. Added underlug. Barrel a Mowrey 50. Rifle can be changed back to original TC 54 easily. Last step, rear sight.

    A Mowrey

    Should have stayed out of the pawn shop today. A Mowrey, 15K sn, if it's been fired 2 times I'd be surprised. 50 cal, 1 inch barrel, half stock box lock.

    TC Hawkin 50, flint

    Purchased an excellent shape TC Hawkin flint. Trying to find out barrel manufacturer. There is a diamond stamp on bottom of barrel near underlug, Haven't been able to find information online for this stamp.

    First flinter

    Came across a prewarning TC Hawkins 50. Darn good shape for its age. Now all I have to do is find or nap some flints and hopefully find some ffff. Always wanted a flinter but ran at the sight of prices. This one was low enough I don't dare say.

    Dang pawn shop did it again.

    Walked in a pawn shop that usually doesn't have bp. Dang if there wasn't a 6 digit s/n TC Renegade 54, double trigger with a Green Mountain barrel. Bore was iffy but they agreed to let me scrub it and low and behold it was nice. $277 plus govt out the door.

    Found this 1977 Euroarms Remington 1858 for 125. Fair for age. Bore looked sad till I scrubbed it.
