    trouble with lock

I believe the older Renegade had the double set trigger. If so you might check to see that the fly is in place and it moves freely.

    cabin creek

I built the Yorktown rifle with parts from Brad Emig at Cabin Creek. Rifle went together with no issues. Any time I had a question Brad took all necessary time to be sure I was on the right track. Brad is always at the Dixon Gun Fair.

    TC Flintlock Advice Requested.

Looks like a Renegade. I have the .54 flint and it does good. I had the rifling recut to .012 depth. Don't recall who did it but Chuck at Dixon gave me the information. Was maybe 15/18 years ago. The deeper rifling helped accuracy in MY case. It's still not great but can hold 2 1/2 inches at 50...

    Cabin Creeks' Pennsylvania Mountain Rifle

Built the Cabin Creek Yorktown rifle. I love it and it is a great shooter. Brad is great to deal with and if you have a question he will take the required time to get you straightened out. I highly recommend Cabin Creek and Brad Emig.

UNBELIEVEABLE OUTCOME OF CIVIL SUIT !!

When I am done with this post I'm going to find Bushmaster Firearms Inc. of Maine and Bull's Eye Shooter Supply in Tacoma, Washington and ask how any company can cave to this outrageous stupidity. I will make reference to the message an agreement like this sends to all anti-gun advocates.

    cabin creek kits

I have dealt with Cabin Creek. Their kits are excellent and Brad Emig is very helpful if you have questions about your project. I built the Yorktown rifle. It has the Green Mountain barrel and it went together with no issues. It shoots well with three shots touching at 50 yards. The Colerain...
