What is the rate of twist on the Navy Arms Buffalo Hunter?

Title says it all. I think they just used barrels from their muskets and the rate of twist is for minies.

    Cook and Brother artillery carbine

I recently purchased one of these. It is a Euro-Arms import but I'm wondering if anyone knows who actually manufactured the rifle? It has a real walnut stock and is a much better quality piece than the Zouaves I've had before. I'm hoping it shoots better as well. Thanks for any help you can provide.

    Touch hole diameter?

I've got a couple rifles that spark well but don't always fire on the first go around. I use 4f as a priming powder, 3f for the main charge, and always pick the touch hole opening. My touch holes are all 1/16th". I see comments here about going as large as 7/64ths, others who caution not going...

I would like to get the thoughts of members here on which flints have worked best for them and contact information. I seem to have a collection of various sizes, some of which work well and some that last only a few shots- and I can't recall where I got the good ones. Thanks in advance for your...

    Mortimer rifle

I recently purchased a Mortimer flintlock rifle, .54 cal, very lightly used that seems very different from what is currently offered by Pedersoli. This rifle has what appears to be gold plated hardware- lock, butt-plate, etc. I'm plenty familiar with brass plating but this is a different color...
