    Ring in Barrel

A lot of times 'rings' are actually slight bulges in the barrel usually caused by firing with the bullet not fully seated on the powder charge.

Found a couple of new old stock Jukar pistol kits

Don't go messing with that drum. By the time you get the barrel inletted down to where the drum fits the lockplate notch correctly that nipple will be lined up perfectly with the hammer.

    Traditions Durability?

Sounds to my untrained ear like you're looking for the perfect solution to a non-existent problem.

    Yep, I'm a sissy.

Use these on my modern guns. My Renegade has a factory recoil pad so I don't need one for it.

    Beware GunBroker Sales

They've been making sellers charge sales tax for some time now. But after the seller gets it from the buyer I seriously doubt gunbroker is sending it to the states.

    TC Lock Parts

A couple years ago I bought a "TC" tumbler off of evil-bay. Turned out to be a Lyman tumbler. It went right in & worked fine with the only issue being I had to file the square shank down a bit to get the hammer seated.

    Natural dye Capote.

I've had deer walk within a couple feet of me while wearing blaze orange vest & hat . Don't know what colors they can or can't see but, take a black & white pik of someone in blaze orange & they'll still stick out like a sore thumb.

    barrel holes repair

Only way I'd even consider shooting that gun is if it was bored out and or relined to a smaller caliber. Nothing against the Bobcat but, really don't think it's worth all that. Find another barrel or part it out & buy another gun.

Difference between T/C Renegade 50 and 56 stocks

Yes, they use the same stock.

New guns inherited. Tell me more

Buttplate, triggerguard, single barrel key identify it as a Frontier Rifle. Not to even mention the missing four inches of barrel.

New guns inherited. Tell me more

Oh, and that's a Seneca patchbox so, I'm'a go with mangled Renegade on the stock.

New guns inherited. Tell me more

The CVA is a pretty nice looking Frontier Rifle. The TC is a Renegade or 54cal Hawken that TOTALLY needs the stock replaced. As my favorite uncle used to say, "it's a strange roarin' that goes through some people's heads". No other explanation for why someone would butcher a stock like that.

Scope Mount For A Octagon Barrel

The magnetic mounts that used to be on the market were split down the middle & came down the sides of the barrel & had cross-bolts to tighten/clamp them to the barrel. They didn't just rely on the magnets to hold them in place.

    breech plug question

On a CVA, one screw to remove the hook tang & replace it with a button tang. Mission accomplished.
