    Stripped screw help

My suggestion involves believe it or not a toothbrush! This worked for me after soaking in MANY different penetrating oils for weeks failed on a 1951 brake cable. Go to Walmart and buy their brand battery operated toothbrush (2 for 5 or 6 bucks). I actually use them for intended purpose then...

TC nipple wrench.....is there a substitute?

How bout a small cresent wrench with the handle in line with nipple? Limits overtightening when installing. If to tight to loosen put a bigger cresent wrench across handle. Worked for me for 40 years. I carry one in range box, comes in handy for lots of other jobs.

    All around sb for hunting?

I believe the regulations have changed in New York state and we are no longer limited to 20 gauge or higher. Some of the 410 loads are way superior to the loadings we used just a few years ago. I took my spring bird with a 54 cal. smooth bore and was assured by local enforcement it is legal now.

I just picked up 2 long rifles, need help identifying them.

No reason to worry on the ultrahigh Kentucky. I have the same gun in percussion it was one of my first muzzle loaders which I put together from a kit(notice I didn't say built,as it is far from it) in the mid seventies. I still shoot it and it's very accurate, but not with the massive loads I...
