    I have had more than my share of RB molds and the very best I have ever had is the JT ball molds made by Jeff Tanner in England. You tell him what size you want and you will get that exact size.

    Looks like a remake of the old "Ball-ets". They shot pretty well, but my PRB would outshoot them, and there was no real difference in their killing ability.

    I've never felt that I was at a disadvantage using a single shot rifle, shotgun OR pistol.

    I just bought a pound of 3031 for $67.95! I am fortunate though, because hardly anyone shoots BP in Hawaii there are still a lot of caps both #11's and Musket for under $10.00@ tin. Although I still have about 4K RWS caps stashed away and about 80 French Amber flints for my rocklocks.

    I don't think that the 58 barrel will give you much better accuracy than you have already. If you are truly interested in a combination gun or Cape gun, keep an eye out on Gunbroker or other weapon sales sites. The pic I have as my avatar is a .44 cal. X 16 Gauge Cape Gun that I bought years...
