    What is the center barrel of a Le Mat used for?

    20 gauge bore, .69 is between 16 and 12 gauge. It's an interesting pistol, it will definitely rock you back when you touch off that short shotgun barrel.

    I don't know since I don't have Pietta to compare it to. However the hole in the cylinder for the cylinder pin measures 0.592" if that helps any. The cylinder pin on my ASM dragoon measures 0.587".

    There was a thread on another site that indicated that early unmarked T/C model barrels (i.e. SENECA) were manufactured by Sharon & Douglas, those marked with model name made by T/C. Those manf'd by Sharon & Douglas had a cross or spade stamp on the underside bottom of the barrel. Who knows? I...
