    Mississippi WMA Regulations..........

    The WMA's that I hunt here in Central MS require a 40 cal or smaller Muzzleloader for small game.I believe the Federal Refuges are different.

    :rotf: I remember those nights that I thought I had to sit by the fire and drink Beer until time to go to bed. Draining when it's 30 degrees out ain't fun. :(

    Ballistol didn't work for me either.My son likes for me to buy the most expensive stuff on the shelf for him,so one day he wanted some good gun oil.He picked out a product called "Clenzoil". I decided to try it in my Muzzleloaders and it works great. It's green colored and I can leave a barrel...

    We had a cat a couple of years ago that would follow me when I hunted behind my house.At first,I would take him back and close him up in the garage.Then I got to thinking....the cat has better senses than I do.So I would let him tag along with me.

    My butt gets wet

    I'm hog hunting in a very swampy area.My Numrich .36 cal Percussion rifle weighs around 8 lbs and is about 56" long. I like to slip slowly into the wind along a creek bank looking for hogs so after a little while I have to sit the rifle down and rest my arms,but the ground is always wet and alot...

    Thanks guys.Would packing the charge super tight have anything to do with the main charge not igniting 100% of the time?? I've been getting almost 100% ignition when range shooting, but it seems if I leave the rifle loaded for a few days,the first prime won't set off the main charge. I live in...
