    Wedge removal

I found a physician's reflex checking hammer in stuff I bought at a estate sale. Two rubber heads one hard enough to get the wedge started. Also in the handle are a pin and the other end is a small brush. Both useful tools.

New Pedersoli Blue Ridge .36... questions

I liked my Pedersoli percussion Frontier so much I bought a Cabelas Blue Ridge flintlock (both .50cal). Only difference are the locks. Both are great fun at the range, shoot the flinty and while it is cooling load and shoot the percussion. But they also attracts a crowd. I usually go during...

    Shooting range today.

Wow what a day! I took my 2 of my pedersoli frontiers to the range. The flintlock is sure fun to shoot. This is my first time shooting the flinty. I had the percussion frontier also to check the differences. Not any other than the bit of a flash from the pan in the flintlock. Both FUN to shoot.

Cabela's Blue Ridge Line of Flintlocks

Thanks for the responses. I think I will refer to both of them as "Pedersoli Frontiers."

Cabela's Blue Ridge Line of Flintlocks

Thanks. The frontier has the same marks as the blue ridge. I thought that Cabela's had their name stamped on them.

Cabela's Blue Ridge Line of Flintlocks

Does Cabelas stamp their name on them or do their Blue Ridges only have the Pedersoli name on them?

    New Blue Ridge

I am really hooked. I just bought another M/L. Since I have a Pedersoli percussion Frontier model, I bought a Flintlock Cabelas Blue Ridge that is made by Pedersoli. Does it make much sense to take both to the range to practice? Maybe work with one on close targets and the other longer ones. Not...

    Need info on Walker reassembly

I used channel locks on a Jukar to hold the spring together. It worked, but I wouldn't use this method on any original as it might mark the spring.

    Locks as gun makers.

I have enough reproductions for now. However, the bug has led me to antique frontier muzzle loaders. Is there no end to this madness? I appreciate the answers, thanks.
