    Deer hunt 2015

I had to laugh when I saw the photo of the tree. I've got a couple of them in my time. It was a bit embarrassing to hear my little girl tell folks that I shot a tree after she heard me tell my wife of the incident when I got home from hunting.

    My Kentucky Deer Hunt

Thanks for all the compliments, guys. I know that there will be other deer. That's all it was, just a deer. Actually, I expected to get one the next night, but it wasn't to be. There is really a lot of deer there. Like I said, the owners invited us back any time. Maybe it made an impression on...

    My Kentucky Deer Hunt

Thanks. It's about a 7 hr. drive for me, but because of my work schedule, I doubt I'll be able to this year. There was reasons I didn't contest it. I thank you all for your input and I'll be sure to keep them all in mind. BTW I'll be hunting with a .50cal with which has always done well for me. I was thinking of picking up some pig in heat scent. Has anybody ever tried any?

    Kentucky boar hunting question

A couple friends and I are planning to boar and deer hunt during the Kentucky muzzleloader season in the Big South Fork Park this October with our flintlock rifles. Problem is that I don't know a good place to find them. I know the best way is to do firsthand scouting, but I'm in the...
