    Perhaps it was used for Cowboy Action Shooting and received an action job. You can check by removing the grips and looking at the main spring to see if it's aftermarket or has been thinned down. The internal springs will be replaced by piano wire.

    In my experience from shooting a .50 Investarms fast twist barrel, the Lyman Hunter barrel, is that the Lee REAL bullet was most accurate of all the conicals I tried.
