Some of my favorite cap & ball holsters

What is a good fit for a Ruger Old Army 7.5" adjustable sight revolver? Looking for a good filed holster and I have always been fond on the old Hunter holster with the safety strap. Will the holster for the regular Blackhawk work for an Old Army? Thanks.

Price check on a stainless Ruger old army

I have always wanted a BP revolver and the Ruger Old Army was at the top of my wish list. I waited too long and they quit making them. I found a used blue one recently and traded a used Remington 1100 for it. I figure the shotgun was worth about 350-400 or so. Got that Old Army I wanted...

    New boy from Georgia

Looking to get a ML. I'm left handed, so the choices are limited. Probably will be a Lyman Great Plains. I have had CVA and T/C righthanders (or wronghanders, as we southpaws say) and even (heresy) a CVA in line. Looks like a wealth of information here.

Thanks for the welcome. I have a couple of cap locks. A T/C Hawken in .50 and a CVA Eclipse in .50 are my meager but enjoyable battery.
