    Anyone can find company that makes a stick on bi-focal under 1 power i would be interested I have yet to find one.. FOR MY system to work it must be under 1 power ,i tested it it WORKS.Works great ....

    how much prime to use

    I buffed my pan like chrome bumpers on car..I take tool and just quickly push it down and out.Hardly any powder not even near half full real small. in over 300 shots not 1 time it did not fire ...I keep powder away from hole more near outside...i use 4f ...

    I have bottle of it but only use it to clean barrel ...Only reason is cost I make my own from grinding oil for patch like Cayagud rec to me years ago over on huntingnet forum... if it was more of liquid I might have used it for patch lube to soak and shoot dry patch like I do but thick as it...

    Reason that dad back in 60s when scopes were not available like today and we had open sights on our guns took all sights off our model 99 sav rifles and put peeps on them. after that boy did we get deer you are right he said put front sight on Buck and shoot .. So I may not need to make rear...

    before I did this i could not see my pistol open sights ..I could not line the 2 sights up 1 was blurry now clear.. best way is try a .50 power or .75 but sadly I cannot find any locally to try they usually only go to 1.0 is lowest. for reading I take a 2.50 :shocked2: You think I was not...

    No,it worked on my browning buckmark pistol and my .50 cal flint with peep moved back towards my eye ...let me grab another gun 22 hornet with peep... Yes it worked on that gun also...

    My RMC V-PEEP I did long ago have gunsmith place it right next to frizzen ..It was mounted up barrel where your original sights were.. But his v-peep is not drilled and does not except a peep insert. hole is real small not as big as the williams peeps are ..thanks..

    I can now see both my sights on muzz and target clear.I took my muzz to eye doctor and found .50 was best. I can now use my open sights on my pistol.... do not go above a .75 power on target will start to blur.. I may have .50 power put in my prescription glasses only in right eye and upper...

    NOW THERE IS GREAT IDEA....Tubing or plastic straw for shooting target pushed inside the aperture hole :thumbsup: Then easy to remove when I go Buck hunting here in pa.. going to look for some straws to cut and try ..Nice winter project.. :thumbsup:

    As usual here great advice..maybe I do not have to make v-peep hole smaller ..just leave it alone... v-peep never had threads or insert to put in it.. just thought making hole smaller would improve my groups while shooting target not hunting deer i like it wide open for deer.. ... your info...

    Back when it was illegal to use a Peep sight in pa RMC invented a peep called V-PEEP .It has cut v in top of aperture .round like peep but has top cut out . My question is this is there way I can make hole smaller so I can shoot target better?sight was made for deer hunting and it works great ...

    Bore button homemade

    I use Bore button I make punching out at home with at 1/2 punch.Do you put any lube on them?I use dry barrel with patch dry with grinding lube oil mix on it soaked/dry as lube on my patching ... I like using a bore button behind my patch on powder .Ones I bought had bore butter in them..Thanks..
