    It happens! Wife says you can do anything you want today ( no list to do). First make an appointment with a psyc. for her then pick: Three shoots to go to, pick one! Line Shoot,Steel target shoot or Woodswalk! I do all, but will choose Woodswalk!

    Douglass Barrel

    Anyone with any experence with Douglas barrels? Just bought at Friendship an early hawken with a 54cal. barrel 1:66 twist and a Griffith lock, L&R triggers. First 6 shots I can cover with a quarter in thr ten ring from the bench at 50 yds. Very impressed already.

    I've hit the lottery! Got a either sex Moose Permit. Problem is what rifle do I want to take? First choice... Hawken 50cal, or Parker Hale 58cal Musketoon or 1874 45/70 Sharps w/black powder cartridge. Any of the above very accurate at 100yds.

    Just got a parker Hale 1861 Musketoon, has PH barrel, and cartouche on stock with serial # 30,000 range. Question is: Is this a Parker Hale or Gibbs Rifle production?
