    Acceptable Lube for Minnie Ball

    We where at 35 and 36 all weekend. Wasn’t bad there. Not saying it was completely dry but was not bad. My lube failed during individuals was to hard had to add crisco to the base. By Sunday no crisco was required. I like the crisco worthless joke that was posted by another poster

    Yea wish the moose mold was the same flat instead of the tie. I’m afraid to ask him to remove it. Had him remove the gas check from my RCBS 429-240-sil. Lost some accuracy.

    Dave Charlie recommended using 2ffg in the sharps. Helps cut back on erosion. Bullets i shoot are the Steve Brooks and the Bagdon copy the Moose makes.

    I’m a step a head of you i cast 200 sharps rounds then loaded 100 Hahn’s tubes that alread had the paper on them. Also cast 50 ea of 69 and 72 cal RB than 250 ea of 45 an 358. non MZ replanted my mailbox. Didn’t get to nap went to bed instead.

    Try 42 of 3fffg. Worked in the one i had and also my friends. Also mini needs to be .001-002 under bore. Pure lead only. To size bore if you do not have pin gage, tap a over sized mini in just past the grease groove so you can get pliers on it, twist it 1/4 turn do that w 3 minis measure and...

    I use hi-temperature grease from McMaster Carr. Never had luck w antisieze tied it also on my sharpes breach block. It doesn’t mix well w any fouling. That gets with it. Locks things up up tight .
