    if you took an average t/c sight and cranked it all the way down and fired a shot say at 50 yards then turned the sight all the way up till it almost pops out and fired the same distance and all what do you think the distance between the 2 shots would be?

    drying barrel

    with the wood stove going now ,after cleaning my barrel I lay the barrel across the top to dry any remaining moisture left there before applying oil is this an alright idea ? ive done it maybe 6 times the barrel gets hot enough that I use welding gloves to take it off then let it cool awhile...

    adding weight?

    has anybody added weight to their stock to get a better balance point ,see I put on a 58cal. barrel and the balance point is to far out for my short arms instead of cutting the barrel down ?maybe another way

    just got another stock renagade and a new lock from t/c flintlock lock..question is there a difference between the pecussion stock and the flintlock stock or did they just send the wrong lock to me?

    small problem with ......

    I went to clean my barrel [green mt.] and took out the touchhole liner cleaned it dried it put it back in and the liner screwed way too far in the barrel not flush like it was ,I wasnt reefing on it just screwed in easy what to do? its not stripped ,should I try some loctite stuff or just screw...
