    Teepee vs Wall tent

    I have a 20' TP a 10X13 wall tent and a 12X12 leanto. My choise by far is the TP. I have been in it at -12 and in 90 MPH winds. It has been there for me. I'm to old to set it up. The 10 x 13 tent did not do well in 50 mph wind but it was good at -15. The leanto well it is a leanto. Set up...

    Two quick questions

    To make blanks, or to shoot without a patch and ball, I use cream of wheat mush. Put the powder in, then put in like amount of mush and tamp in. I use 50 gr. of each, big bang no kick. I do firearm demo's a a federal park. Three shows a day in the summer.

    Welcome to the black powder addiction. I started on this treck in 1968 and still am thrilled to touch off a black powder gun. What is really great is that I do black powder demo's. for the BLM, twice a week three shows a day. Hang in there it only gets better.

    Blacktail season in Oregon

    Yep. Hunting season in the GREAT Northwest, Got me a 3 point staked out at a salt lick. That is a 6 point for all you Easterners. Going to take the 50 cal Sharon out and get another tack in it. Now we'll see if this dream will come true in a few days... Damn I hope this was'nt an other nightmare.
