    I like it on my Muzzlerloader TC Rengade. I clean the barrel with TC bore cleaner and use Balistol on it afterwords.

    There is a lot of Great Deer hunting on Public land only thing is it usually a long ways from the truck. I will be hunting some tommorrow right here in Iowa. Iowa ranks I believe 48th in public land available. So 47 States have more opportunity than here. Come to Iowa

    I would put a small charge in and seat the bullet again. And if it does not come out with a couple tries, you could try pulling it again.

    I did not know putting powder in drum was a bad thing as that is how I have gotten a dry ball out. I will try to get some Black Powder for hunting. I have looked for it at local gun stores with no luck. It is a safety issue but how long would you stay on target after a miss fire ? 1 second...

    No I did not fire a cap before loading. I did run a patch down with alcohol and took nipple out and ran a pipe cleaner with alcohol as well. Then a dry patch and pipe cleaner. I then loaded it took nipple out and filled drum as well. Maybe it was a bad Cap or Maybe I should of waited...

    Iowa Early Muzzleloader Season ?

    Six-Gun nice deer. I have narrowed down where I will be hunting this fall. Need to get out and make a nice ground blind. It has been very wet lately could delay fall harvest which will hurt the hunting as some of the deer just stay in corn fields.

    I travel West every year from Iowa and this year I went to Alaska. I love to see new country. I never have taken my Muzzleloader. I do have it on my to do list when I retire but no one I hunt with also muzzleloader hunts.

    Fouling your barrel.

    I don't know if I am doing it right yet. I clean with rubbing alcohol and load then take nipple out and fill it with little more powder, reinsert nipple cover nipple with a wide rubber band and tape the barrel with electrical tape to keep moisture out and debris.
