    At what point did the makers have to switch to iron when making cannons? Did bronze cannons have a maximum bore, or projectile size? There are some rather large bronze cannons on display in town squares.

    Making black powder pellets from GOEX?

    Has anyone tried making pellets from Goex powder? I'd like to make pellets for my Great Plains 54 cal rifle and cap and ball revolvers. I'm guessing that I'd need to mix a binder and the powder together and then press it into molds? Any ideas? Steve
