    Sight Removal

I have an older TC Hawken barrel that's pretty much trash. I have salvaged the rear sight off of it, as it was screwed to the barrel. I want to remove the front sight also and use it on another gun. Front sight is dovetailed i, need to know the best way to remove it. Thanks in advance.

    Flint size for T/C lock

Other than using the cut flints sold by T/C, what size flint should I use in my Penn. Hunter? Thanks in advance.

    Twist rate T/C Penn. Hunter

Jeff, I did as you suggested with marking the ramrod, looks like I've got a 1:66 twist. Thanks for the tip and load reccomendations. Was hoping to get out and shoot it today but this "deep freeze" we're in right now is just to much. I would'nt last more than 3 shots.

    Twist rate T/C Penn. Hunter

    Twist rate T/C Penn. Hunter

I've got a Penn. Hunter flintlock I've had for about 10 years. Shot it a little when I first got it, was going to hunt with it this year but never got around to it. My buddy took a doe with his TC Hawken Perc. on the last day of our season and got me fired up to hunt with the Flinter next...

    New GM barrel

Yup, same caliber with a 1:70 twist for roundballs. I must say I was really expecting to have to do some modification to the gun or the hammer. Was pleasantly surprised when everything, literally, dropped into place.

    New GM barrel

Well Sunday I ordered a drop in GM replacement barrel for my 54 cal. caplock T/C Hawken that I picked up used at a Gun Show for 125.00. I bought the 32" barrel and it dropped right into the stock with no modification whatsoever. Gotta wait till next week to get to the range though and try it...
