    Yep!! The ram rod on my Kentuckian sticks out past the muzzle,,when it was flush with the muzzle I had a difficult time pulling it out. Never had the original R/R ,,the rifle was given to me...

    Found a curly maple today....

    Before you write it off, cut a section off and check the interior for rot,,,I have some Cherry that died standing and is still upright,,the surface is soft and punkie,,however the heart is still solid.You never know ,,that is unless you have already checked in depth.. I'd say by the looks of...
