    CVA trigger guard question

    Overall length is about the same but the configuration of the 2 are completly different. If you did manage to do it I don't think you would be happy with the end results! :idunno:

    missfire

    When I load for hunting I run an alcohol patch and pop a couple caps. Then load the rifle. Then I pull the nipple and dribble a little powder in the channel and put the nipple back in and she lights up every time. I don't know if it was mentioned but I use pipe cleaners to clean the flash channel!

    CVA price?

    Here are a few pic's of my CVA Siber. It doesn't have a nosecap, no ramrod and the end of the barrel and lock are engraved. The grip is checkered! It's .45 cal. w/single set trigger.

    CVA Hawken & Mountain Rifle

    Add a dovetail 8-1/4 inches from rear of the Mt. Rifle barrel and just use 1 wedge key! You would pickup 4 inches of barrel length and I think it would look :thumbsup: ! You got me thinking I have a couple of extra Mt. Rifle barrels. :grin:

    Hawken dovetail--- 8-1/4" from end of barrel to center of tenon! Mt. Rifle --5-1/2 and 10-1/2 inches from end of barrel to center of tenons! Won't work. Ron
