    LMF Browning Touch -Up

I am going to try to re brown the one side. If that doesnt work then I will just do the whole barrel. Thanks for the info. A guy at work said just use a little birchwood casey's cold blue over the area. I dont know about that one. Any thoughts on that?

    LMF Browning Touch -Up

This is probably covered in another topic in the past, but, My Green Mountain Barrel on a TC Hawken (old barrel) has a orange spot developing on the left side in front of rear sight. Probably fron handling while hunting. Can I touch up this area without re-doing the whole barrel or what? Thanks...

    Accuracy Problem

Does the bullet box (red plastic) have the insert? The flier or insert said the load for those bullets is 115 gr FF. I tried that load and they were very accurate. Only use roundball now and I think their 115 gr load is too stout but it sure did work.

    TC New Englander shotgun

I also have a 12 ga New Englander cylinder bore. My load is 80 gr FF OP wad, 1/2 of a fiber cushion wad, equal volume of # 5 shot, and OS card. OP and OS cards are made from Beer Coasters. Everybody laughs at me but it works quite well and cheap too.

    ID'ing Second Generation Colts

Thanks for all the info guys. I will be seeing them this afternoon. Needed some info beforehand to be sure the were not Pietta or some other manufacturer with the markings removed. This should help. I will post the results later, thanks again.

    ID'ing Second Generation Colts

How can you tell if a second generation Colt revolver is real. Don't they have papers or special markings on them that ID them as authentic? A guy has two for sale but the price seems too low. Thanks for your input in advance. Maybe some pics to help.

I have a 12 ga New Englander and hunt with it all the time...LOVE IT. Cylinder bore and thinking about jug choking it to modified to improve pattern. If you can find a barrel jump on it! You wont be sorry
