Flash melt, wads, and bore butter?

The clerk may have used flawed reasoning or simply the wrong words, but he still sold him a useful product for use with 777. Folks who use 777 don't really need a bunch of lube over the balls. Flash melt, wads, and bore butter?

IMO wads are a better idea than using a soft lube over the ball because it melts and can be messy. Especially since smaller charges of 777 shouldn't need as much lube as powders that contain sulfur. Are the wads that he sold you dry wads or the moist lubed Wonder wads?

"While both men espoused emancipation for American slaves, here their agreements ended. Lincoln thought that the free labor society of the American North provided great opportunities for free men missing from the American South, a kind of "farm ladder" that gave every man the ability to become a...

It was clear that slavery should not expand nor be encouraged to expand since the profits from it were being used to finance war, destroy the country and lives on both sides. And that's not even mentioning the lives of the slaves themselves who were being oppressed by denying them the freedom to...

Lincoln repeatedly said that the war wasn't about ending slavery. If prosecuting the war wasn't such a large undertaking in terms of time, money and casualties, then maybe he would have kept his word. This article describes the reasons why ending slavery became another purpose of the war. The...

Article: Civil War wasn't to end slavery Purposes: The South fought to defend slavery. The North's focus was not to end slavery but to preserve the union. The slavery apology debate misses these facts. "The Civil War was not fought to end slavery; it was fought to defend slavery. The...

Just as a piece of property can only have one owner, a territory can only belong or be a part of one nation. The southern states were part of sovereign US territory. The Union had a duty and obligation to continue to defend its territory from foreign and domestic enemies under Constitutional...

I cannot agree that it was recognized as a belligerent nation, but perhaps only as a belligerent state or warring party. That means that it occupied territory but not necessarily as a nation. Rather as a part of the nation that it was warring with. I don't want to directly compare it to ISIS...

Even back then there were two sides to the story. The Union knew that its version would be passed down through the history books. But they didn't want the south's version to get distorted to make it more appealing to people that the nation had taken the wrong actions. So I think that they tried...

You want to ignore the whole history of abolition including that of Thomas Jefferson and Ben Franklin. Even Washington warned about sectionalism - a.k.a. slavery - in his farewell address.
