    Another .32 Crockett Thread

I’d shoot a groundhog at 50 yards with a patched ball but I wouldn’t hunt hogs with a .32 anything.

    Another .32 Crockett Thread

I’ve got a T/C Maxiball mold in .32 but I’ve never used it. I thought I’d fool with shooting them in my .32’s but the more I shoot patched balls from them the less inclined I am to mess with bullets.

I used to have a TC booklet on safety, ML basics, and powder charges for different calibers....where to find that now?

Click on someone’s name, then choose “start conversation” from the box that opens.

    Revolutionary War Ancestors

My family name is Harvey and we’ve been here in Vermont a long time. I don’t know anything from before by great grandfather but I probably should look into it.

    Revolutionary War Ancestors

My great grandmother was an Adams, a descendant of John Adams brother. No idea if he was involved in the revolutionary war but it seems likely.

Since were showing off hoes.... I just got this one. The blades about 8”, the handle maybe 1 1/4” in diameter.

2020 How does your garden grow

I didn’t know you could actually buy ostrich ferns. I probably pick 5 gallons worth every year. Half we eat fresh and the rest I blanch and freeze. My favorite way to have them is cooked, chilled and then tossed with oil and vinegar.

    .45s?

My first muzzleloader was a .45 Seneca, I had no problem killing a number of deer with it and I enjoyed shooting it. I got it in my head that I needed a .50 a few years later so I moved on from the Seneca. I regretted it for years. Eventually I remedied that by buying another Seneca. Then...

I put in some boxes this spring and planted them, 3 boxes 3’ x 16’. They’re doing great so far and if it works out I’ll add some more next year. We put in tomatoes, cucumbers, zucchini, peppers, spinach, lettuce, green beans, onions, beets, and carrots.
