    I recently was reading a thread about rough horns and cannot find it now. I would like to seem some plain poor boy style horns. some that were not scraped smooth and polished.

    Yes it is horn. Kevin is very knowledgeable about history and guns in the Appalachian states. I wanted a good representation of a poor boy rifle and I think he nailed it for. There are a couple of upgrades and I am pleased what he put together for me.
