Learning to shoot a 12ga SxS

Nice! I have a Pedersoli on the way to me right now - though I got the one with fixed chokes. I'm looking forward to trying it out - I hope the results I get will be similar to yours!

Paper cartridges loading cylinder in OR out of gun ?

Did you shoot the 25gr load yet? That is a mild load but is usually a pretty accurate load - at least in a lot of my revolvers. I don't use fillers or anything, and it still usually works pretty well regardless of how far it is seated in the chambers. If you really feel the need to stuff more...

    Question - Cimarron BP revolver

I can't think of a single reason why you should not buy it.

    Now we're talking!

    .31 caliber

Too many Colts, need more Remington (or facsimile thereof).

Woo Hoo!! looks good! Looking forward to your impressions of it!

So I bought myself a Pedersoli Bounty Hunter Pistol.

I saw those at Midway, and was really tempted, but I've already spent way too much $$$ this year on stuff. Looks like you are getting some pretty good results with yours.

Um, yeah, someone here has fired it. What did I find? Watch the video. Video is not dead wrong.

    NEW Taylor’s “Ace” Pistol

I think I might have seen that video.;) The biggest problem is that the loser behind the trigger is just a lousy shot! Once the front sight gets filed down and I find a load with acceptable accuracy, I think this is going to be a neat revolver to bang around with. As far as period...

    NEW Taylor’s “Ace” Pistol

I ordered something recently from them too and also got that "shipping in 2 weeks" e-mail, but it actually ended up shipping the next day. So you might get it sooner than you think (hopefully!).

    NEW Taylor’s “Ace” Pistol

I am glad that Pietta left the grip frame alone. I like the birdshead style grips on the snubbie Colt's, but I think due to the shape of the Remington grips they are better left as-is.

    NEW Taylor’s “Ace” Pistol

I'd really like to have a .36 Remington snub as well, but I don't have the skills or the nerve to chop up a perfectly good revolver. Maybe if I find a basket case at a cheap price I'll give it a whirl, but until then I'll just have to keep hoping that Pietta or Uberti will offer one. I've...

    NEW Taylor’s “Ace” Pistol

I agree that the Colt snubbies have much more graceful lines, but I still like the looks of the Remington - I think it has a very "business-like" style. I shot my ACE over the bench the other day. Results weren't quite what I had hoped for, but there is more testing to be done so hopefully...

    NEW Taylor’s “Ace” Pistol

It appears as though they only have the white gripped ones in stock at this time.

    NEW Taylor’s “Ace” Pistol

That was 30gr of Goex 3F with a Hornady. 454 round ball. Bore Butter type grease covering the chambers. I find CCI #10 works best for caps with Piettas, as long ad you seat them firmly with a dowel or something.

    NEW Taylor’s “Ace” Pistol

I'd like to have one in .36 as well. Maybe if these prove popular enough they will offer them in that caliber too.
