    TC Renegade hammer "hanging up"?

FWIW the rifle was cleaned well. Hot water soap and pressure had water coming out the nipple in a very free flow. After a thorough cleaning the first 5-6 rounds went off without an issue.

    TC Renegade hammer "hanging up"?

Grenadier- I think you are correct. Replaced the nipple, first 5-6 shot's were great, no issues. Then the hammer would drop, cap fire but no shot. Tried multiple caps, eventually had to put powder in from the nipple side until charge eventually fired. Hammer is dropping caps are firing...

    TC Renegade hammer "hanging up"?

Great replies, thanks. Again, rifle shot great at first, no ignition problems of any kind, so maybe not a lock issue? Same caps were firing great at first?

    TC Renegade hammer "hanging up"?

TC Renegade in .50, bought used but in what seems to be very good condition. Bore is bright and clean, no major dings or scratches in stock etc. Took it to the range today and it was shooting great for about 10 rounds, then when I pulled the trigger just got a pop from the cap but no...

    Loose cylinder?

Thanks for the replies. Using various thicknesses of paper as a pseudo feeler gauge I'd say the gap is appr .006, it just seems like more when you're manipulating the cylinder. Frame is steel.

    Loose cylinder?

A little while ago I picked up an Armsport 1858 replica. The gun is older but in decent shape and shoots much better than I expected. The only thing "wrong" with it is what seems to be a loose cylinder. If I try to move the cylinder from side to side it feels very tight, no noticeable...

    Interchangeability between brands?

Very new to the ML world so please excuse what may be a really dumb question. When dealing with a particular type of rifle, a Kentucky long rifle, a St Louis Hawken etc is there any kind of interchangeability between brands? For example would the barrel off of a TC Hawken mate up to a Lyman...
