    Worked up a new mandrel for 36 cartridges. Gonna crank a few out and see what happens. Only using 15-17 grains for my Navy and my Twister. Really just having some fun.

    I bet in some instances not fast enough, even with multiple cylinders. Hopefully you had a steed that could hall ass on command.

    It took a few mess ups to get in sync and still have few culls. But over all they come out pretty good. Started with the kit from Guns of the West and the provided papers. Went thru those and picked some Raw cigarette paper and just kept going.

    Ok here’s the low down on the loaders for my 58 Hawken. Used some plastic water pipe I had laying around. Just cut into a length I thought would be enough for a patched round ball 90 or so grains of powder and a stopper. Cut the wine corks down with my dremel to get a snug but not tight fit. I...
