Kibler stocks OK for a lefty?

I'm left handed, solidly, but if I was a young guy starting out I would learn to get comfortable shooting right handed. I have advised others, no complaints. Robin

    Kibler Brown Bess?

One thing for sure, if he goes ahead with the project it will be the closest thing to an original that most of us would ever hope to own. Kind of late in the game for me and I haven't really had much interest in military arms of the era, but even so, I would buy one and if he announces a go...

    Osage Orange for ramrods?

Yes, it has a very high mineral content and when finished it can be brought to a very high sheen, even using a buffing wheel on it I normally reserve for metals.. I have made dozens of bows, countless arrows, a couple range rods, and a few tool handles from it, Do what you will. Robin

    Now I will clean it.

Brit, I'm intrigued by your lube recipe. I have a smoothbore with a pristine barrel I would like to try your method on. I don't mind cleaning my guns after some shooting and actually enjoy the process, but I would still like to try your method. Enjoy your hunts!!!!! Robin

Well for the last few weeks something comes in the night and drains the sugared water out...
