Bldtrailer I have a brass rod similar to your lower left one that I built to fix the leading edge of flints. Guess I am curious about the next step to take more material off?

This flint for my bess has dulled, how do i fix it to get more shots. I can tap the leading edge of a flint and get a few shots out of a new one but now the leading edge is a dull 3/16" and doesnt spark and my tap doesnt knock off enough for a sharp edge. Ive tried watching videos and still...

I'll 2nd Historian, I have a few of Marty's molds and they cast great, handles do get hot so you gotta wear a glove and I will buy more for sure.

My experience with IMA was excellent for 5 lbs of flints. Tons of usable and the larger dull ones just knap them down to smaller usable.

100s of caps without problem. If using beer can material the printing has to be inside the cap for the compound to bond, i suspect that is where people go wrong. Using brass .005 stock also works fine. I use the 4 chemicals matching their directions with no issues at all

Butcher block paper works great

Crap shoot with what you'll get. Mixed sizes, lots are dull and need sharpened up. I found value in them.

Can really shoot anything with a tight fitting patch

I leave olive oil out on the counter in an open top pour bottle, no issues. In a barrel it should be fine
