    Perfect Indiana Squirrel Weather

So I made it out Saturday on my squirrel venture to see what I could accomplish. The weather was perfect. A little frost on the ground, no wind and the sun was just starting to meet the horizon. I made my hour long trip to my favorite public hunting spot, loaded up my .54 GPR with 35gr of 3f...

Don’t underestimate a small charge of black powder

So I use my .54 cal. GPR with 35gr of 3f Goex for squirrels. I get very good accuracy with this light load, but even with only 35gr of powder it will still produce enough energy to punch through a 2-1/2” diameter maple tree!

    Bag strap blackout

I have a fairly heavy shooting bag and the strap seems to put pressure on my neck and cuts off some circulation to my top knot. Does anyone else have this problem?

    Barrel question

So I bought a Lancaster rifle off of Tip Curtis last year and it has a 54 cal. Green Mountain swamped barrel on it. It shoots accurately, but It shoots too far left. I had to move the front sight off to the left and the back sight off to the right to get it to shoot to point of aim and I don't...

    ? about vent liner

So my new Lancaster flintlock has an ampco bronze vent liner that has been filed flush with the barrel. When the time comes to replace it, how does one remove the old one? Drill a bigger hole in it and use a screw extractor? :idunno:
