    I agree. A nice 1-2 year old deer is good meat. I second your comment on how bad a big buck tastes. I bought a cheap ram once from a coworker. I thought I got a good deal untill I tasted it. Yuck!

    Good size doe shot at 110 yards. Didn't think I could reach out through the brush off-hand but it happend. Was able to recover the slug in the body. Expanded nearly twice the orginal diameter! Retained most of the lube and weight. Good luck to all those going out for muzzloader as my season...

    Burton Ball recovery from deer devastation.

    A testimony to the Burton fired from an Enfield rifle. Shot this deer at 110 yards Diameter after impact increased from 1/2in to 15/16ths. The bullet retained a majority of its lubrication and weight. No fragmentation.

    There was an article about a union shipwreck recovered in one of the great lakes not too long ago. On. Board, severa boxes of ammunition were found. They measured the diameter and averaged them. Different arsenals obviously had variances in the Burtons with most trending between .573-575...
