Hello,

after lurking for a while I joined today.
This is due to certain facts and people who drew me into this... fun
I think I kinda move backwards in time.
The whole Black Powder thing for me started out with a Rolling Block rifle for which I wanted to load BP rounds. The next thing I know I bought a cap&ball revolver - just a couple of months later a .50 cal cap lock fell into my lap.

I had the pleasure to visit Friendship twice so far and always met very friendly and open people - in 2010 a Silhouette shoot I wanted to watch and ended up shooting, due to the guys. For the second time just a couple weeks back to meet a friend there. He introduced me to his 28 gauge Trade gun and it felt like coming home. Well I guess I need one and need to go back there, too.

I only am a member of ONE other forum, unfortunately my name was taken so here I will go by "Silex"

Willkommen im Forum (welcome to the forum!)
Maybe we meet one year at Friendship,IN at the primitive range?
It would be nice if you could put your age and location in the profile, too.
Gruesse in die "alte" Heimat...

Guten Abend, hoffe du bist gut? Willkommen im Forum!

What part of Germany are you from? I served in Kaiserslautern for a time while in the Military?

Well anyway, happy to have you around, this is a wonderful Forum to belong to... with a lot of very awesome people.

Have a great time!

Suz

Thank you for the warm welcome.
I didn't know this was a German speaking forum
Updated the location and age...

I am located in northern Bavaria and yes, I hope I can make it to a big shoot to Friendship one day.
Well, on the other side - since I am a member now - a private day at the range is a nice thing, too.

Thanks again

Welcome to the Forum!

Say hello to a former exchange student we hosted here in Arizona and who is still a very good friend (he and his whole family). He grew up in Otterfing and is about to get his college degree in Munich. We spent 3 weeks at the family home while visiting Bavaria in 2007. Very enjoyable country.
