Anybody know the size of the front sight dovetail for a CVA Mountain Rifle. Thanks in advance....

Near as I can measure mine with it installed , is darn close too .350
It's much smaller than American 3/8--.375

If I recall, 3/8 inch is too large and mine is .360 (cva MT Rifle.)
I seem to recall Dixie gun works detailing this in their catalog, hence the .360 I mentioned.
I have seen several sights listed in catalogs as well with the same designation

Smaller means you can file the dovetail on almost any sight and make it fit. And it's quick and easy.
