Hi,I am going to mail my barrel to track for some work.Is there anything I can do to the stock to make sure it dosnt warp?It will be gone about 2 weeks. My other question is where can I find a 42 in. box ?Thanks, squib

You could hang the precarved stock up by the buttstock. A little warpage is no problem.

You can use PVC pipe to send the barrel.

Should be able to get shipping tube for the barrel. That's what my 42in green mountain arrived in the other day

Put it in a schedule 40 PVC pipe, glue the cap on one end, just tape the cap on the other end. Shipped allot of them that way & never had one damaged.

I have had several arrived damaged in cardboard tubes...... as the tang cut the tape on the end of the tube.
