Hi,I just ordered a movie called Into the west. Its a 6 part miniseries that was on tnt.It starts in 1825 and spans 65 years.I think it will be a good show.Have any of you seen it?squib

got the book at a second hand store, never read it yet. watching the moving picture would be more fun, let me know if its any good

There's a wonderful film by the same title starring Gabriel Byrne as the troubled father of two sons, all of them Irish "Travelers." Just a head's up so as not to inadvertently order the wrong one.

I have it on DVD. I like it. I also read the book and liked it as well. I think the screenplay and movie were written first and then they were adapted into a book instead of the usual way of a book being made into a movie.

i beleive it is swampy, and i thought it ws a good series, have watched it a few time

I have the mini series. I like it very much. It deffinately has a couple episodes that are better than others. It also does lean in one direction more than the other but overall it is entertaining. i wouldn't use it as a history lesson but it will fill a cold rainy day this winter.
