If only repros were not subject to licensing in my host country.... :( I'd buy one right now if they weren't
We have the same kind of laws, but there is a loop hole. I use antique barrels from guns that are totally ruined or very cheap.

Have to ask, have you ever considered moving to a free country?
Though I am no fan of firearms registration and strict firearms laws, that still is not enough to make me want to move. After all, we have free healthcare, cheap university education for everyone, subsidized daycare, low crime rate, low poverty rates...... You have to weigh the pros and cons. :hmm:
But still, it is anoying that it is easier to buy heroin than black powder.

Those weapons don't have a butt-stock.
How were they mounted/presented for firing?
Can you post a pic?

Those are cheek stocks. I've seen some videos of them being fired, but don't know where to find them at the moment, but the name implies the function.

Interesting loophole.... I'll have to enquire if that would work here :hmm:
The only part of a replica muzzleloader that requires a licence in Norway is the barrel. Since a antique barrel is not a weapons part (by the laws definition), niether is a weapon built around that barrel.
If it ended up in court I'm sure I would win.

Those completed pieces are particularly the more beautiful in that they aren't overdecorated, as too many antique pieces are.

when you are interested in the ancient manner of form, not only when you turn attention to the workshop and other realities, it is inconvenient for some people the beauty of antique takes on a new flavor. It is true that one likes the blonde and another brunette. :)

kit in the Polish edition.
