Seems like I saw a wheel lock pistol on the "The Three Musketeers" movie starring Richard Chamberlain and Raquel Welch back some years ago.

Thanks for sharing this beautiful example of working art.

Well done indeed. :applause:

 Hey Roy give dad a pat on the back for me---that's certainly beautiful---does he take apprentices ? :haha: The both of you should be cited as National Treasures.

You will have to bring it to Ty's shoot in January
just to watch Uncle Mick Drool!!!!

A very beautiful pistol indeed! Thanks for referencing this in the pre-flintlock board!

OH MY, you guys have far to much talent! God should have spread it around a little more.
You must be sooooo proud of your Dad as well you should be.
The very best to you both,

Roy I am still learning about making guns and was just wondering what processes your dad used to age the gun, it looks like the metal is pitted is that from bleach?
Mike

He just let it rust with either bleach or LMF browning then worked it back off..

 Sweet piece of hardware! The ironwork looks hand forged? How's his eyesight after doing all that wire inlay? :haha:
