Here is one of my restorations. This jewel of Bulgarian gunsmithing is made of walnut wood, the barrel is made of Damascus steel with silver inlay. The lock also has silver appliqué and corals. The decoration is from 504 pcs. mother of pearl, 645 pcs. sockets and 245 pcs. brass nails with tinned heads. There is also about 7 meters of double twisted brass wire between the pearls and lots and lots of brass wire around the rosettes.

What an incredible restoration. I can hardly believe my eyes. Almost too beautiful to shoot. Although I would. LOL Thanks for posting.
